The Torriana grey renette compote is a traditional Piedmontese dessert, prepared with Torriana grey apples. This compote is appreciated for its unique and intense flavour and for the quality of the apples used, cultivated in Piedmont and in particular in the municipalities of Barge, Bagnolo and Cavour.
It can be served either hot or cold, and is an excellent choice to accompany dry desserts or mature cheeses.
